现在完成体(由has/havebeen+ed分词构成),有两个主要用法,即“已完成”用法和“为完成”用法,“已完成”用法是指动作或过程发生在说话之前某个没有明确说出的过去时间(常指最近的过去时间),现在已经完成,并与现在的情况有联系,即有可能继续持续下去。

这句话表明关于Alf的工作,hiswife一直被蒙在鼓里,全然不知自己丈夫真正的工作性质,这种状态从过去(认识)起一直持续到现在,并且不出意外,将继续持续下去。
