PART2–语法详解
情态动词
上节课我们讲解了表示建议和劝告的情态动词,那么这节课我们来讲解一下表示可能性和不确定性的情态动词和短语:
may(might)许可,也许;I’mnotsure。
1、may(might)
①might是may的过去式,表示客观可能性;may和might在肯定句中表示允许,在疑问句中表示肯定;might既可以是过去式,也可以用于现在或将来,表示委婉语气。
②may和might在肯定句中表示怀疑、猜测。
2、I’mnotsure
I’mnotsure句型其后通常接从句,表示“我不确定……”。
e.g.:
I’mnotsurethathewillcomehere.
我不确定他会来这里。
