Suddenly,anothercarwithtwomenpulledupbesidethem.Themanonthepassengersidehadagun,andhewasscreamingatthemthroughthewindow.AsRegGreensteppedontheacceleratoranddroveawayquickly,hecouldheargunshots.Hedroveasfastashecouldtothenearesttown.Maggiewasrelievedtoseethatthechildrenwerestillsleeping.Butwhentheystopped,theybothrealizedthatNicholashadbeenshot,andtheyrushedhimtoahospital.Sadly,aftertwodaysinthehospital,Nicholasdied.
