GENERALOBJECTIVES
Thisunitisaboutspring,andwhattakesplaceduringspring,sothatstudentscanlearnvocabularyfortheseasonalchangesaroundthem.Theunitreviewsvocabularyforweather,datesandseasonsthatthestudentslearnedbefore.Throughstories,factualinformationandprojects,thestudentsextendtheirvocabularyfordescribingweather,andlearnnewwordsforoutdoorrecreation.TheunitaimstohelpstudentscompareoutdoorrecreationinChinawiththatinCanada.Thishelpsstudentsconnecttheirlanguagelearningtopersonalexperiencesandtheexpressionofopinion.
通过本单元学生能够了解春天,以及春天所发生的事情并掌握一些表示季节变化的词汇。
通过本单元的学习学生将复习学过的有关天气、日期和季节的词汇,并通过故事和课题作业扩展描述天气的词汇,学习新的关于户外娱乐的词汇。
本单元的目的是通过比较中国和加拿大的户外娱乐活动,学生能够把语言学习和个人经验、观点表述联系起来。
