TibetanantelopeissimilartoMongoliangazelle(瞪羚)inappearance,butitismuchbigger.AgrownmaleTibetanantelopeusuallyweighs35-40kgandfemale24-28kg.ThereisaparticularityoftheTibetanantelope,thatis,thereisalittlebagineverynostril(鼻孔).Itsroleistohelpbreathonair-thinhighland.Adultmales’hornsareusually50-60centimetersinlength,butfemaleshaven’tanyhorns.Antelopes’lifespan(寿命)isnotverylong.Normally,theycanonlysurviveforeightyears.Theylikelivinginlargegroupsonplateauswiththealtitudesof4,300—5,100metersandaregoodatrunning.
