1Scope
ThisStandarddefinesthematerialrequirementsforglassfiber-reinforeedand/ormineral-reinforcedPA6intheengine,chassis,gearbox,andbodyareas(withoutpaint).
2Description
Thedescriptionconsistsofthefollowingelements:
PA6asperVW50134+>grade<+>areaofapplication<
IfnoneoftheareasofapplicationinSection6apply,onlythegradeisspecified.
Exampleforapartmadeofpolyamide6with30%glassfberforuseasanintakemanifold:

3Requirements
3.1Generalrequirements
ApprovaloffirstsupplyandchangesasperVolkswagenStandardVW01155.
AvoidaneeofhazardoussubstancesasperVW91101.
Thetestsmustbecarriedoutonfinishedpartspecimens・Dependingonthegeometry,atleast5partsarerequiredforcompletetesting.If,duetothegeometry,thetestscannotbeperformedonthecomponent,datasheetsormeasurementsperformedontestpanelsmaybereferenced.
Thefinishedpartsmustbefreeof什awsandprocessingdefects(voids,cracks,joiningseams,etc.)onthesurfaceandintheloadedandfunctionallyrelevantarea.Ifvoidsorotherprocessingdefects

3.3Manufacturingmethod
Thematerialsareintendedforinjectionmoldingandblowmovingprocesses・
3.4Conditioning
Adistinctionismadebetweenthe“dry"and"conditionedr,conditioningstates.
Specimensfromcomponentsinthe"dry”statehavebeendrieduntiltheirweightremainsconstant(seeSection7.2)andstoredinadryatmospherewithoutinterruptionbeforetesting.
Specimensfromcomponentsinthe"conditioned"statearespecimensinthe"dry*'statethatareagedinawatertightbagfilledwithwaterat70°CuntiltheequilibriumstateinTable1andTable2isreached.Ceviatingfromthisprocedure,specimensmayalsoundergoacceleratedconditioningasperDINENISO"10.
3.5Evaluatingthemeasurementresults
Therequirednumericalvaluesapplytoeachindividualmeasurement.

Specialmaterialrequirements(e.g..lightfastness,flammability,emissions)mustbeobtainedfromthedrawinc・

Themoisturecontentisdeterminedbydryingthespecimensinthe(vacuum)oven.Atleast3specimensrrustbetakenfrom3parts;thesespecimensareweighedwithanaccuracyof0,01gand
