EntertainmentplaysamainroleinourmobileInternetlives,withoneinfiveBritishpeopleusingtheirphonesforonlinegames,athirdlisteningtotheonlineradioand39percentwatchingfilms,TVorothervideosatleastonceaweek.OnethirdofthoseusinganInternetphonesaidtheyreceivedvideos,imagesorothermultimediaontheirmobile,and61percentsaidtheypassedonthecontentstheyhadreceived.
Fromacommunicationpointofview,80percentofthosequestionedagreedthattheInternethadmadeiteasierforthemtostayintouchwithfriendsandfamily.
AlisonFennah,directoroftheIAB,saidtheuseofthemobileInternethadcometothepointthatmarketersshouldbelookingtostrategies(策略)thatconnectthemwithconsumersmoreeffectively."Bettertoolsaswellasimprovedconsumermotivationthatstartcomingtogetherin2011canmakeagreatdifferencetoextendingtheonlineexperience,"Fennahsaid.
