Abstract:
GSMNP)filledwithmanydiversity,historicsites,andbiologicalforvisitorstoexploreandexperiencerecreationopportunities.Theparkwidelyavailabletovisitthepotentialactivitiestoplantheparkthatwillbetterbalancetheirinterestandlimitcausedgreatchallenges.Becauseintheparkinspaceandnospacedataassociationseparationresourcesandactivities,byusingGIStostorage,management,analysis,andvisualizationofdatabecameareasonablechoice.However,justGISfunctionisnotenoughtomaketheparkvisitorssimpleformulationprogram.Thispaperprovidesaneasy-to-usegraphicuserinterfacedesignofGISfunctionandSDSSbasedonGISspatialdecisionsystem(SDSS)usedtohelppeoplevisitingmoreefficientlyGSMNPselectionandplanningtheiractivitiestobalancetheirpersonalinterestsandrestrictions.

1.Introduction
(GSMNP)isafullofbiologicaldiversity,historicsites,andrecreationofopportunityforthoseinsidethenaturaltreasurestoexplore.WithallthepeopleintheparkandenjoytheadventuresomethingGSMNP),attracted(thananyAmericanothernationalparktwiceasmanytourists.However,manytouristsisallacametothepark,don'tknowwheretobegintoexploreintheGSMNPprovidedinlargeamountsofoptionalactivity.Evenwhentheyvisittoknowwhatlikestogototourists,theyoftendon'tknowwhereisthemosttomeettheirexpectationsofplace.Arepeatvisittheparkvisitorsmayalsowanttoexploreparknewtheyhaven'tinvolved,butexceptinsomeofthemostfamousintheparkwherethelittledestinationoutside.Mostoftheparkvisitorsrunningalongthepark,path,andfamousattractionsactivities,toexploreequallyattractivebutnotbeknownarea.308squarekilometersofGSMNPhadsomethingtogiveeachcametotheparkandcanhaveanunforgettablememoriesthatwilltouristswishandparkresourcesofmatchup.
Thisnaturalproblemsinvolvedinthespatialaspectnaturalgeographicalinformationsystem(GIS)andspatialdecisionsystem(SDSS)application.ThispaperhasprovidedaSDSSbasedonGISapplicationtoassistparkvisitorsfinddifferenthiddenfromtheGSMNPtreasuresandmatchingtheirpersonalinterestandthepark'snumerousavailableresources.SuchabasedonGISforparkvisitorsSDSSthanwillprovideausefultooltomaketheiractivityplanmoreconvenient,andfrommatchingpersonalinterestsandparkresourcestoincreasesatisfaction.
2.Background
In1934,GSMNPbuilt,andistheeasternUnitedStates'ssecondlargestnationalpark(figure1).Ittakesitsextraordinarybiologicaldiversity,morethananestimated100,000speciesofplantsandanimalsinthisinfamousintheworld.Morethan70%offorestpark,intheeasternUnitedStatesisprovidingthegreatestforestlandscape.TheparkfromtheamplitudeoftheelevationatthesouthwestcorneroftheparktotheeasternUnitedStates204metersofTennesseethirdhighestpeak,thehighestpoint1830metersClingman'sDome.Mountainridgesandvalleys,ineverycornerofstunningsceneryshowslikeAnakeestaoutcropsof"CharliesBunion","TheChimneys"and"Needle'sEye"addressstructureforparkprovidesauniqueindividualcharactermakevisitingtheseclassicpeopleimpressed.
GSMNPelevationofamplitudethechangesthatlikepeoplefromGeorgianorthtoMainetravelexperienceasthedimensionofthechange.Forexample,inatypicalsouthlowlandtreespecies,likeliquidambarformosanaisrich,buthighsomealtitudeinnorthernlikecanusuallygrowspeciesgraymountain.InGSMNPvegetation,animalandclimateinthelowerelevations,walkinganddrivingisaplaceinthehighaltitudeswithlocalexplorationwillhaveatotallydifferentexperience.Wildflowersinthespringmakeshalffullofvigour.Manytouristsinthepark'scolortomaketheirtravel,whethercolorrichchunxia'swildflowersorinSeptember,OctoberandNovember'scolorisgorgeousleaves.Thewaterfallisanothergoodparkattractions,andcaninmanyareasandparktopsfound.AbramswaterfallandLaurelwaterfallattractedthemostattention,becausetheyarethemosteasytoaccess,andmoredramaticwaterfallsSpruceFlatsFallsandForneyCreekasCascadesareoftencarelesstouristsignored.
Morethan528kilometersofroadand33kilometersofriversandstreamscoveredmuchoftheparkgeographicalareas.Thekindsofanimalparkfrominsectstolargemammalsanimaliswhitetaildeer,elkandandbear.Parkwiththeworldmostwould-beRongYuan30species.BecauseoftheabundanceoftheGSMNPmetsomewildanimalsisalmostcertain.Fishingisparkanothermajorattractions.Thebrooktroutistheparkandtheonlylocalspecies,rainbowtroutandbrownincoldstreamstroutisthemassivecapture.
Inadditiontolargequantitiesofbiodiversityandtopographicaldiversity,parkalsoprovidesearlyAppalachianboundaryofhumanhistory.LikeinthenortheastcorneroftheparkatthesouthwestcorneroftheCataloocheeareaandinthefamousCadesCovethroughsomerecoveryintheparkthebuildings,likethecabin,churches,barns,factories,schools,provideapictureofearlyhumanlife.Afactory,barnsandhousesinthesmallsettlementcanbefoundaseriesoflowpark.Makespeopleoncecalleditoutofthehouseofmountaingraveyardinthewholeparkcantheycanfind.Manytouristshavebeenattractedtothehumanlifeborder,andspendtheirtimeintheexplorationofhumanhistory,thisinGSMNPeverywhere.GSMNPprovidesanidyllicsettinggivepeopleenjoysolitude,aplacetothefamily,arefugetofriends.Forleisurecarandcamperhinterlandcampinggroundanddevelopgoodcampsitevareopentovisitors.SomevisitorsenjoyCadesCovebikethroughtherelaxation,otherswanttofindchallengingtooneofthemanypeaksintheparkofhiking.Isfondoffishingandcanoeinginthepeopleenjoystreams,andboatersandturbulenceFontanaLakeleisureskiersenjoyopportunities.Manynationalparkshaveaspecificinteresttocatertothetourists,andGSMNPinitsareahascanprovidealmostanytoexplorewhatthepeople.GivenitsbeautyandplaceGSMNPattractsmorethanninemillioneveryyear,visitorswillnotcurious.But,theparkwidelyavailabletovisitthepotentialactivitiestoplantheparkthatwillbettersatisfytheirinterestcausedgreatchallenges.
3.GISdatabasecreated
ThefirststepTrailFinderSDSSdevelopmentistocollectallkindsofGSMNPphysicalelementsofthedataset(forexample:
roads,andstreams,path),parkattractions(forexample:
waterfalls,observatories,historicalsites,peak),andparkfacilities(e.g.visitorcenter,campsites,HuLinZhan,refuge).Mostofthedatasetsfromnationalparkadministrationstaffacquiredthegeographicinformationsystem.ThisprojectselectionArcGISsoftware(Environmentalbytelephoneunder0120-2714540Institute,trueRedlands,CA)asadevelopmentplatformArcObjectsmainlybecauseit'sopendevelopmentenvironment.ArcObjectscanbeusedforanyMicrosoftcomponentobjectmodelcompatibleprogramminglanguagetodevelopcustomizedGISapplication(Zeiler,2001).ThiscustomabilitybasedonGISinadevelopingcustomSDSSintheanalyticalprocessandgraphicaluserinterfaceisvital.
DatasetisorganizedintoaArcGISgeographicdatabaseasseparateelementsclass(equivalenttothelayer;seemapofGISZeiler,1999).EachseparateelementsinsuchcanberepresentedasSDSSanalysisfactororlimitingfactor.Additionalpropertiesareaddedtothepathofmoreeffectiveelementstosupportanalysis.Forexample:
awildflowerswillbeaddedtoattributethetrailelementsgiveusersachoiceofspecificspring,summerorfallinstandardofwildflowers.Basedontheroutearrangedmetwildflowersforperfectopportunity,verygood,andgoodorbad.Becausetheobjectivityofwildflowernaturalseason,thisoptionforwinterisnotoptional.Eachroutewasalsogivedifficultylevelshavesimple,medium,difficultandhardtogiveusersachoosespecifictheyhopeconsumptionmuch.Thesevaluesfromelevationgain,route,andsystemdeveloperofslopeexperience.Deer,elk,thebear'sprobabilitymodelisusedtogivetheuseranotheroptiontoevaluatedifferentpathsmeetwildflowersopportunities.
4.systemdesign
InTrailFinderSDSShimselfsuitableforsolvingthespaceapplicationofdecision-makingproblemappear.Analysisresultsnotonlydependentonvariouselementsandattributesofdistribution,butalsorelyoninreflectuserpersonalinfluencedecision-makingprocessinvolvesvaluedecision.SDSSframeworkallowsuserstoexploreavarietyofoptionstohelpsupporttheirdecision-makingprocess.Sinceeachparkvisitorsmayhavedifferentrestrictions(forexample:
physicalconditionsortimelimit)andpreferredactivities(e.g.,horsebackriding,fishing,camping,ornamentalflowersorwildanimals),insystemdesigncontainsamaybethedecision-makingprocessintheparkvisitorsbyconsideringthelimitationsandfactorofcomprehensivesetisveryimportant.Inaddition,thesystemmustallowuserstotheirdesignatedvariousfactorsoftheimportanceofdecisionmaking.Thesearetheuserspecifiedlimits,factorsandimportantlevelisusedtoaTrailFinderSDSSweredevelopedtoforadviceonpathclassificationandarowafterthemostcansatisfyuserstandardroutealgorithm.Figure2showsasystemdesignflowchart.
