英语听力竞赛活动总结
为激发我校学生英语学习的兴趣,进一步促进学生英语听力能力和实际应用能力的提高,检测前一段教学效果及学生的学习情况,提高学生的英语听力能力和水平,让英语走入学生的日常生活,让学生用所学去实践、去检验、去创造。
20xx年9月18日星期三下午,九年级英语听力竞赛在会议室顺利举行,这是一个中学生英语听力、技能展示的盛会,也是促进学校英语教学水平提高的一次竞赛活动。
现就此次活动总结如下:
一、基本情况
本次竞赛活动从九年级选优秀学生参加。
为了开展好这次竞赛活动,我们英语组精心准备测试题目,做好计划、精心的组织和严谨的安排,从各个班级中抽选出20名学生参赛,决赛期间,由我组五名老师担任评委,其他教师组织纪律,严格按照评比标准,本着公平、公正的原则,认真负责地对每位参赛选手进行了细致的评审,选出8名获奖者。
二、成功与不足之处:
我们欣喜的看到,学生也表现出极大的热情,有部分学生能比较轻松地听,说明孩子们学好英语的潜力很大。
这是我校首次开展的英语听力竞赛活动,有一定的意义,它成功地为学生搭建了一个合作学习、展示自我、互相学习交流的平台,每位参赛学生在这次活动中开阔了视野,有不同程度的收获。
竞赛活动不仅营造了学校英语听力学习的氛围,还激发了学生学英语、说英语、用英语的热情。
但同时也存在问题。
1、在本次竞赛中,我们发现有相当一部分选手的英语听力有一定的难度,毕竟我们练的较少,平时教学中时间有限,我们希望在日常的教学活动中,能充分利用教学光盘、英语录音磁带等英语教学资源,引领学生展开听说、听写等教学活动,创造学生学习英语的环境。
2、参赛选手临场应变能力较差。
主要体现在现场大多数选手的英语听得不是很清楚,大部分参赛选手的英语词汇量不足,平时的积累不够,积累词汇是提高英语听说水平的一个重要前提.
3、有些同学因为少参加此类的活动,表现胆怯,学生要通过多听,多练来锻炼,老师也要在教学活动中多创设语言训练的环境,为学生创造一些展示的机会,教给学生一些听的技巧,引导学生在大量练习中提高听的能力。
以赛促教,以赛促学,竞赛是形式,应用是目的。
希望通过此活动,学生在竞赛中学习竞争,学习合作,学习他人身上的优点.能够集中思想将词汇更加牢固的记住,,而教师认真总结好本次竞赛活动,积极地思考和探索,把听英语录音这个可能有些单调枯燥的事情开展的有生有色,创新地开展英语教育教学工作,为全面提高我校英语教育质量共同努力。

英语听力教学工作总结
时光飞逝,转眼间一学期结束了。
在本学期,本人按照学校的安排,任教空乘0821班英语听力的教学。
一学期来,本人认真备课、上课,认真出卷、及时阅卷。
严格要求学生、尊重学生,发扬教学民主,使学生学有所得,从而不断提高自己的教学水平和思想觉悟,并顺利完成教育教学任务。
为了总结经验,寻找不足,现将英语听力一学期的工作总结如下:
1、要提高教学质量,关键是上好课。
为了上好课,我做了下面的工作:
(1)课前准备:
备好课。
①认真钻研教材,对教材的基本思想、基本概念,每句话、每个字都弄清楚,了解教材的结构,重点与难点,掌握知识的逻辑,能将教材运用自如,知道应补充哪些资料,怎样才能教好。
②了解学生原有的知识技能的质量,他们的兴趣、需要、方法、习惯,学习新知识可能会存在的困难,采取相应的预防措施。
③考虑教法,解决如何把已掌握的教材传授给学生,包括如何组织教材、如何安排每节课的活动。
(2)课堂上的情况。
组织好课堂教学,关注全体学生,注意信息反馈,调动学生的积极性和注意力,使其保持相对稳定性,同时,激发学生的情感,使他们产生愉悦的心境,创造良好的课堂气氛,使学生在轻松的氛围下聆听。
课堂语言简洁明了,课堂提问面向全体学生,注意引发学生学英语的兴趣,产生的问题尽量课堂解决,稳扎稳打,减轻学生的负担。
2、辅助教学
为加强学生练习英语听力的思想认识,树立坚持每周甚至是每天英语听力练习的新理念。
尝试新教法,不断更新教学观念。
开展英语歌曲教学、英文原声电影教学等非传统教学手段,并得到学生的欢迎。
3、不断提高自己
在备课过程,除了依仗手头材料外,要通过各种途径查找有关材料补充新知识,并增加课外知识以提高学生的学习主动性,刚刚踏上讲台,还缺乏很多教学经验,所以更加努力工作,以形成自己的教学风格。
4、成绩与反思通过一学期来的努力,充分调动了学生的学习积极性和自主创新能力,提高了学生学习英语听力的兴趣。
学生掌握了学习英语听力的方法,自学再生能力得到了进一步的提高,但学生的成绩还参差不齐,整体成绩提高得不快,有些甚至不尽人意,这有待今后工作中不断的探索、借鉴与完善,主要存在以下问题
(1)教材挖掘不深入,对学生的自主学习,合作学习,缺乏理论指导。
(2)教法不灵活,不能完全吸引学生学习,对学生的引导、启发不足。
(3)对学生了解不够,对学生的学习态度、思维能力不太清楚,学生掌握的情况怎样,教师心中无数,导致了教学中的盲目性。
5、今后努力的方向
(1)学习新内容,挖掘教材,创造新教学方法,进一步把握知识点和考点。
(2)多听课,学习同科目教师先进的教学方法的教学理念。
(3)加强教学反思,加大怎样提高英语听力教学投入研究。
最后,也希望各位老教师多指正我的缺点,从而不断提高我自己。
