Interestingly,84percentofChinesewomen.Identifiedtrying1ocalfoodasoneofthenecessaryactivitieswhentravelingalone,higherthantheglobalaverageof62percent.Plus,76percentofChinesewomenand73percentofglobalfemaleswilltakepartinculturalandscenicactivities.Surprisingly,only30percentofChinesewomenlistshoppingasanindispensablemust-doontheirsolotraveltrips,lowerthantheaverageof43percent.
TripAdvisorChinaPresidentZhengjialisaid,“Globallyspeaking,solotravelhasgraduallybecomeatrendamongtheyounggeneration.Andthereisnodenyingthatwomenmustfacethegreaterchallengesofunknownenvironmentsbythemselvesontheirsolotripsinthefuture.”
