我认识的文艺复兴
文艺复兴,是十四世纪至十六世纪在欧洲兴起的一个思想文化运动,带来一段科学与艺术革命时期,揭开了现代欧洲历史的序幕,被认为是中古时代和近代的分界。
文艺复兴发端于十四世纪的意大利,随后有扩展到欧洲各国,十六世纪达到鼎盛。
文艺复兴的兴起是由于十四世纪的崩溃,欧洲经济的衰退,宗教内部的堕落与虚伪的制度,封建政治和道德上的混乱,并且资本主义萌芽的出现也为这场思想运动的兴起提供了可能。
不仅是人为因素,中世纪温暖时期结束而过渡到小冰河期的开始时期,这个气候上的改变导致农产品产量的下降,随之产生了饥荒,再加上当时盛行的黑死病使得人口数量下降,人们物质上的缺乏和精神上的压迫使他们渴望有一场自由的解放,所以自由的人格和追求现实享乐的个人主义价值观成为人们主要的思想路线。
文艺复兴另一个重要原因是1453年奥斯曼土耳其帝国攻陷君士坦丁堡,东罗马帝国灭亡。
大批受到东方文化影响,还保留古罗马帝国精神的人才逃往意大利,带回许多新鲜思想和艺术,在罗马开办教授希腊语的学校,促使了文艺复兴运动的形成。
或许文艺复兴仅仅是一场文学艺术方面的复兴运动,它的全部兴趣都在于发掘优美的古典艺术风格和雅典的拉丁文风。
文艺复兴不像宗教改革那样直截了当地导致了罗马教会一统天下的破裂,
但是,它为宗教改革提供了思想的资源,文艺复兴中人文主义者们要用感性的,自然的人性来取代唯灵主义的崇高神性。
文艺复兴虽以学习古典为特点,却绝非单纯的复古,实质上是通过学习古典的途径创造新文化。
其实,这不是古典文艺的简单再现,而是14-16世纪正在形成中的资产阶级在政治、思想、文化、艺术、科技等诸领域内的一场反对封建神学,反对封建特权,宣传资产阶级新思想的新文化运动。
文艺复兴时代的人们学习古典,但并不是简单的效仿,而是通过学习感悟其中的精神,再以这种精神为基础去领悟现实主义的方法和古典社会的民主思想。
并且在那个时期涌现出一大批杰出的人物和作品,但丁的《神曲》、薄伽丘的《十日谈》、马基雅维利的《君主论》、拉伯雷的《巨人传》等。
在文艺复兴时期的艺术作品歌颂了人体的美,主张人体比例是世界上最和谐的比例,并且应用到绘画,雕塑和建筑上等,这些作品和思想都在反映着一种现实主义精神,反对当时教会的蒙昧主义精神,集中地体现了人文主义思想,主张个性地解放,反对中世纪的禁欲主义和宗教观。
文艺复兴对优美古典语言的推崇导致了大量的人文主义者的出现,人文主义反对神权和神性,宣扬人权和人性;反对蒙昧和神秘,发展理性和科学;反对来世和禁欲,重视现世和幸福;反对封建等级特权,提倡自由平等友爱。
它是
一种基于理性和仁慈的哲学理论和世界观,它的精神实质就是人性的解放,它的热情讴歌曾经被基督教倍加压制的自然人性和世俗生活,它的目的是要把人的自然欲望的满足和感性享乐由教士阶层的偷偷摸摸的勾当转变为所有人的理直气壮。
人文主义最重要的内容就是肯定人的价值:
从艺术到社会生活,把人的历史、人的世界、人的活动、以及人的精神、形象和身体本身作为关注的中心。
人文主义者反对基督教的唯灵主义理想和揭露神职人员的虚伪丑行,但是许多人文主义者都供职于罗马教廷,这也使得他们不敢触动罗马天主教会一统天下的政治格局,这也带来了一些好处,使得人文主义成为利用罗马教会的保护来揭示基督教信仰和道德的虚伪性,这样既可以得到教会的认可,又可以发扬人文主义精神。
人文主义在北方世界中所起的这种振兴民族语言文学的历史作用或许比它在意大利“复兴”古典文化的贡献还要更加重要一些。
文艺复兴虽然是一场文艺方面的复兴运动,但是它对人们思想的解放和促使人们对现实主义精神的渴望,也促进了自然科学的发展,艺术方面对人体比例的探求促进了人类解剖学的发展,而且在天文学,数学和物理学等方面都有很大的发展。
在文艺复兴时期,天文学方面,哥白尼提出了日心说体系;数学方面,三、四次方程的解法被发现;物理学方面,伽利略发现的定律使人对宇宙有了新的认识;生理学和
医学方面,人们对人体内部的构造有了更深的了解。
这些理论和知识,在今天的科技中仍占据重要的位置。
所以文艺复兴时期的自然科学的发展对后世的发展有很大的促进作用。
自然科学的发展,也有效地促进了技术的发展,在文艺复兴时期,技术的发展得到而来更新,更有效的商品和服务应运而生。
使得到了1500年代,欧洲国家已经在许多重要的科技上领先世界了。
文艺复兴美术的现实主义方法和人文主义思想,在创作实践上是密切结合的。
人文主义强调人性崇高与身心的全面完美,重视世俗的现实生活,反对神学权威和封建特权。
新美术创作的真实完美的人物形象和生动丰富的现实情景,就最能体现这种思想,产生最为广泛和强烈的反应。
再加上当时的社会背景,因此美术变成文艺复兴文化最受欢迎的代表,成果也最为丰富。
文艺复兴美术作为西方近代美术的源头,它的基本风格和表现技法构成了西方近代美术的主要传统,影响极其深远。
在造型艺术方面,它以写实传真为首务,开创了基于科学理论和实际考察的表现技法,如人体解剖和透视法则等,从而使它得以达到古典艺术之后一个新的高峰,在风格和技法上它和东方艺术以及一切近代之前的艺术有本质区别。
在建筑艺术方面,它以恢复古典建筑传统为首任,同时着重探讨建筑美感的理性法则,从而奠定了西方近代建筑延续数百年的典范形制。
在社会身份和专业教育方
面,文艺复兴的艺术家也经历了从中世纪转向近代的演变。
14~15世纪,艺术家犹组织在行会里,等同工艺匠师,学艺亦在作坊中采取师徒传授形式。
16世纪起渐有改变,艺术家成为类似近代的知识阶层的一员,行会变为学会或艺术学院,艺术家的个性、个人才能与风格特色得到承认。
