However,whathappenedonecloudyOctobermorningin1987overSalisburyPlainwasfarfromajoke.AfighterplanewasflyingovertheplainnearBoscombeDown,animportantairfieldusedbythearmy.Thepilotoftheplanewasinradiocommunicationwiththeairfield.Suddenly,'whilethepilotwasgivinginformationabouthisheightandspeed,theairfieldlostallcommunicationwiththeplane.
