SurveySpecificationforRockandSoilEngineeringGB50021-94
1.1.12Detailedsurveyshallprovideddetaileddocumentsforrockengineeringandtechnicalparametersofrocksfordesignuseinthelightofdifferentarchitecturesorarchitecturegroups.Itshallalsoprovideanalysisandevaluationforrockengineeringofarchitecturefoundationsandtheprovingofspecificplansoffoundationdesign,foundationtreatmentandthepreventionandtreatmentofbadgeologicalphenomenonaswell.Followingsaremainworkstobedone:
(1)Toobtaingenerallayoutplanofarchitecturewithcoordinatesandterrain,thecleanedgroundlevelofarchitectures,thenature,scaleandstructuralfeaturesofthearchitecture,thepossibletypeandsizeoffoundation,theestimateddepthoffoundationandthespecialrequirementsforfoundationdesignetc.
(2)Toclarifytheorigin,type,distributionrange,developmenttrendandextentofhazardsofbadgeologicalphenomenonandtoprovideevaluationandtechnicalparametersofrocksforthetreatment.
(3)Toclarifythetype,structure,thickness,slopeandengineeringfeaturesofeachlayerofsoilwithintheareaofthearchitecture,calculateandevaluatethestabilityandbearingforceofthefoundation.
(4)Forarchitecturesneedcalculationforsettlement,toprovideparametersforcalculationoffoundationdeformation.
(5)Forlocationswheretheseismicintensityexceedsorequalsto6magnitude,thecategoryofgroundsoilandthecategoryofgroundshallbeclassified.Forlocationswheretheseismicintensityexceedsorequalsto7magnitude,theearthquakeliquefactionofsaturatedsandsoilandsaturatedpowdersoilshallbejudgedandtheindexofliquefactionshallbecalculated.
(6)Toclarifytheconcealmentconditionsforundergroundwater.Whenmakingdesignforloweringwaterforfoundationpits,itisalsonecessarytoclarifytheamplitudeandregularityofwaterlevelchangingandtoprovideinformationofstratumpenetration.
(7)Tomakejudgementofthecorrosiontoconstructionmaterialsandmetalsbyenvironmentalwaterandsoil.
(8)Tomakejudgementofpossibilityoffluctuationoffoundationsoilandundergroundwaterinconstructionperiodandinserviceperiodandtheirinfluencetotheproject,alsosuggestthemeasuresfortreatment.
(9)Forexcavationofdeepfoundationpits,itisnecessarytoprovidetechnicalparametersregardingrockandsoilrequiredformakingstablecalculationandforthedesignofsupports.Proveandevaluatetheinfluenceoffoundationexcavationandwaterloweringtoneighboringprojects.
(10)Toprovidetechnicalparametersregardingrockandsoilforthedesignoffoundationpilesandtodeterminetheloadforsinglepile.
1.1.15Thedepthofboreholeindetailedsurveyshallbecalculatedfromthebottomoffoundationanditsvalueshallmeetfollowingregulations:
(1)Forthefoundationcalculatedaccordingtotheload,thedepthofboreholeshallcontroltheforce-bearinglayerofthefoundation.Whenthebottomwidthofthefoundation,b,isnotmorethan5m,thedepthoftheboreholeshallbethreetimesthewidthofthebottomofstripfoundationwhileforisolatedfoundation,itshallbe1.5times.However,itshallnotbelessthan5m.
(2)Forfoundationsneededtocheckcomputationsofdeformations,thedepthofcontrolboreholeshallexceedthedepthofsettlementoffoundation.
(3)Incasethereislargeareaofstockpileloadonthegroundorthereissoftsubbaselayer,thedepthofboreholeshallbeincreased.
1.1.16Thesamplingandtestingfordetailedsurveyshallmeetfollowingregulations:
(1)Thenumberoftaking-soilsamplesandthenumberforholes(wells)oftestingatoriginalpositionshallbedeterminedaccordingtotheevennessanddesignrequirementsofthefoundation.ForbuildingsofClass1safetyclassification,itshallnotbelessthanthreeperbuilding.
(2)ForeachlocationoreachbuildingofClass1safetyclassification,thesamplesoforiginalsoilofeachmainlayershallnotbelessthan6.Thetestingdataatoriginalpositionintheholeofsamesoillayershallnotbelessthan6groups.
(3)Inmajorforce-holdinglayeroftheground,taking-soilsamplesororiginalpositiontestinginboresshallbemadeforthesandwichlayerorlenslayerwiththicknessover50cm.
1.1.17Constructionsurveyshallbemadeinassociationwithdesignorganizationandcontractorinoneoffollowingcases:
(1)ForbuildingsofClass1orClass2safetyclassification,inspectionofconstructionoffoundationpitsshallbemade.
(2)Afterexcavationoffoundationpits,incasetheconditionsofrockandsoilarenotinconformitywithoriginalsurveyinformation,constructionsurveyshallbemade.
(3)Ifcavesorearthholesingroundaredeveloped,theyshallbeclarifiedandsuggestionfortreatmentshallbeputforward.
(4)Ifinconstructionthereisdangerofinstabilityofedgeslope,itshallbeclarifiedandmonitored.
1.1.18Thearrangementofexploringpointsindetailedsurveyforhigh-storybuildingsshallmeetfollowingrequirements:
(1)Exploringpointsshallbearrangedalongtheperimetersofthebuilding.Cornersandintermediatepointshallalsohaveexploringpoints.
(2)Thearrangementofexploringpointsshallmeettherequirementsforevaluationofstratumstructureandevennessbothfromradialandlongitudinaldirections.
(3)Forbuildingswithspecialshape,theexplorationpointsshallbearrangedaccordingtothespecialshape.
(4)Thenumberofexploringpointforsinglehigh-storybuildingshallnotbelessthanfour.
3.7.2Thesurveyforexcavationoffoundationpitsandforsupportingengineeringshallmeetfollowingrequirements:
(1)Atinitialstageofsurveyforproposedmainbuilding,thefeasibilityofsupportingshallbepreliminarilydeterminedaccordingtorockandsoilengineeringconditions.Atstageofdetailedsurvey,specialsurveyshallbemadetotheprojectsneedtosupport.
(2)Therangeofsurveyshallbedeterminedaccordingtothedepthofexcavationandtherockandsoilengineeringconditionofthatlocation.Exploringpointsshouldbearrangedoutsideoftheboundaryofexcavationandtothedepthof1~2timesexcavationdepth.Forsoftsoil,thescopeofsurveyshallbeextendedappropriately.Thedepthofexploringpointsshallmeettherequirementsforcheckingatdifferentlimitconditions.
(3)Effectivestressstrengthparameterofsoilortheparameteroranti-shearstrengthwithoutdrainingwatershallbeputforwardaccordingtothestructureofstratumandthenatureofrock.Andsoil.Theinfluencetothesoilbychangesinstresscausedbyconstruction,thechangesinconditionsofstrainandtheundergroundwatershallbeevaluated.
(4)Thefeaturesofundergroundwaterwithintheareaofexcavationandnearbylocationsshallbeclarified.Itisalsoneededtoclarifytheinfluencetonearbybuildingsandfacilitiesbychangesinwaterlevelinconstruction.Theestimationofthepossibilityofhigherpermeationandpipesurgingshallbemade.Measuresforloweringwaterorisolatingwaterinconstructionshallbesuggested.
(5)Theexistingstatusandcharacteristicsofnearbybuildingsandfacilitiesandtheirbearingcapabilityforvibrationandtheirdisplacementcausedbyconstructionshallalsobecheckedandclarified.
1.8.1Surveyforrockandsoilengineeringofpilesormoundsshallincludefollowings:
(1)Toclarifyconcealmentconditionofrockandsoilandtheirphysicalandmechanicalfeatures,theconcealmentdepth,thickness,propertyandtheirchangesofforce-bearinglayerandsoftsubbaselayer.
(2)Whengroundrockisusedasfoundationforce-bearinglayer,itisnecessarytoclarifythestructure,property,extentofweatheringandthethicknessofthegroundrock.
(3)Thehydro-geologicalconditionsandthecorrosionstopileandmoundmaterialcausedbyundergroundwatershallbeclarified.
(4)Toevaluatethefeasibilityofsinking-pile.Toprovetheconstructionconditionsforpileormoundandtheirinfluencetotheenvironment.
6.2.2Inrockandsoilengineeringsurvey,ifthereisstratum,whichcontainswater,undergroundwaterlevelshallbemeasured.
8.2.4Exploratoryboringshallmeetfollowingregulations:
(1)Therecoverydrillingdepthofnon-continuouscore-takingdrillingshallbelessthan1mforspiralexploratoryboring,whileforrockcoreboring,itshallbelessthan2m.
(2)Fortheboringtoverifynaturalhumidityofstratum,itshallbedrilledinadrywayabovethelevelofundergroundwater.Whenitisnecessarytodrillwithaddedwaterorwithcirculationliquid,itshallusedouble-layerrockcorepipefordrilling.
(3)Therockcoresamplingrateinrockcoreboringshallnotbelessthan80%forgeneralrockandnotlessthan65%forbrokenrock.
(4)Forfix-directiondrilledbores,theinclinationoftheboreshallbemeasuredsectionbysection.Theprecisionofmeasurementforinclinationangleandorientationshallberespectively±
