教学内容
一、教学内容
八年级下A册第七单元中的三个部分(整合):
1)Listening(p.102)
2)SpeakingB:
Speakup(p.106)
3)VocabularyB(p.113)
整合内容(情节)简介:
两位宇航员Liz和Gus的宇宙飞船坠毁、陷入困境,他们向CaptainTroy发出求救信息(VocabularyB,p.116部分),CaptainTroy前往营救,在母舰上指引宇航员们到母舰降落地点(Listening,p.102部分),提醒他们有关注意事项的故事(SpeakingB:
Speakup, p.106部分)。
教材处理
本节课为单元的第三课时,在“听”中获取“飞船坠毁信息”内容和记录“指令”关键信息,通过完成系列任务,以“说”的方式,完成“制定到母舰降落地点的路线”和“选择5件随身携带物品”。
关于内容整合的说明:
本课内容整合了沪教2011课标版英语八年级下册第七单元的A册(课文)和B册(练习册)的相关内容,整合依据是源于三部分材料属于同一话题,在内容上有内在联系。
另外,学生的英语基础较好,一节课内只完成Listening部分内容少,难度低,因此结合学生实际水平整合相关内容加以补充,增加难度。
具体如图所示:

3教学重难点
1.教学重点:
巩固根据所听语段内容获取和记录关键信息的听力技能。
2.教学难点:
在实际情境中表达自己的观点并阐述理由。
4学情分析
1.学生经过一段时间英语学习,具备了一定的听说技能,如听前预测、听中获取信息等,这有助于学生较好地获取听力文本的内容。
2.本课话题是关于“拯救宇航员”,学生对这个话题有一定的兴趣。
但如何为宇航员们设计返回母舰路线、选择5种随身携带物品时,学生需要有批判性思维,运用英语来分析问题、解决问题。
这种思维能力和综合运用语言的能力,对于学生来说,有一定的难度。
因此,教师根据话题的趣味性,设置不同的任务,通过Pairwork、小组合作等方式,帮助学生完成本课内容的学习。
5教学设计
1.总体思路
本节课设计是围绕两条线索进行:
以话题内容为主线,以完成任务、解决问题为辅线。
学生在获取宇宙飞船坠毁信息,了解故事发展的过程中不断地遇到问题,通过完成任务并解决问题,从而“实施拯救”。
从话题线索看,本课从引入地图标注,描述路线开始,再通过故事人物,用视频激发学生的好奇心和兴趣,引出故事主题。
学生想要了解CaptainTroy和两个宇航员之间的故事,首先要先了解宇航员为什么要向Captain求救、然后再一步步了解飞船坠毁信息,通过Captain给指令告知母舰降落地点,制定路线,选出携带物品等实施救助。
从“解决问题+完成任务”的线索看,
首先,描述地图标注及线路是为后面的听指令在地图上找标注、制定路线做铺垫。
其次引入本节课的任务就是为了拯救两位坠机走失的宇航员。
为了达成这个目的,需要学生完成两个子任务:
了解飞船坠毁信息(Crash)和帮助拯救(Rescue)。
子任务一是获取宇航员飞船坠毁的有关信息后告知Captain。
学生完成“Listen”和“Report”这两个小任务来实现“获取和告知”。
通过“listen”后选择关键信息来获取“Crash”主要内容,通过“Report”的方式告知Captain。
子任务二分两部分,通过是获取Captain的指令,实施援助、帮宇航员到母舰降落地点。
学生先获取Captain的指令后,再根据指令制定路线、选出携带物品到母舰降落地点。
“获取指令”部分有三个小任务:
1)通过“Listen”帮助宇航员们标注地图;
2)通过“Takedowninstructions”写下关键的指令;
3)通过“Summarize”总结关键信息。
“帮忙做选择”部分有两个小任务:
1)通过讨论和小组合作,帮助宇航员们制定合理路线并选出5件随身携带物品,
2)在班上展示讨论结果。

活动1【导入】Stage 1:

Set an situation to introduce the teacher’s problem and ask the students to help solve it. While illustrating the problem,the
teacher introduces how to label the places on the map and describe the route. Also, when asking the students their opinions,introduce some patterns to show their agreement or disagreement.
【设计意图】设置问题情境,激发学生解决问题的好奇心。
引入问题时介绍如何描述地图上的坐标及描述行进路线,为后面的任务(“听”后标注地图、“说”出制定路线)做铺垫。
同时,在学生提供解决方案时介绍赞同或不赞同观点的表达方法,为最后小组展示成果时表达自己观点做铺垫。

Then help explain the new words (landing site, desert) if necessary.
2) Listen, label the map, then check the answers.
Task 2.1.2:
Help Liz and Gus take down the instructions.
1)Ask the students to listen and take down Captain Troy’s instructions, then check the answers in pairs.

【设计意图】第一部分通过观察地图先预测地图上的坐标,在“听”中进行核对。
第二部分培养学生在“听”中获取并记录关键信息。
第三部分走进文本,在“读”中归纳文本大意。
从听到读,帮助学生掌握instruction的主要内容。

Help Liz and Gus decide the route and the 5 things to take to the landing site.

First, decide the route to the landing site and give reasons, then decide the 5 things to take and give reasons.

通过小组的分工与合作,展示讨论结果,运用本节课学过的句子来描述路线、给观点、阐明理由,学以致用。
在讨论和展示中培养学生合作沟通能力和用英语来解决问题的能力,在展示、倾听及提问,培养学生的听力、口头表达能力及批判性思维。
